On February 27, 2024 the Ambassador of Ukraine to Kenya H.E. Andrii Pravednyk met with the Ag. Director General / CEO of the Kenya Space Agency Brig. Hillary Kipkosgey.

The Ambassador congratulated his counterpart with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the State Space Agency of Ukraine and the Kenya Space Agency on Cooperation in the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, which lays the foundation for practical bilateral interaction in this field.

Both side discussed further steps aimed at promoting bilateral space projects, and shared the views on the potential perspectives in a number of areas of cooperation.

The Kenyan side expressed its solidarity with Ukraine, which fights to restore its territorial integrity. Brig. Hillary Kipkosgey praised resilience of Ukrainian people in withstanding the aggressor.
