On April 5, 2023 Ambassador of Ukraine to Kenya H.E. Andrii Pravednyk met with the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Defense of Kenya Hon. Aden Bare Duale.

Ambassador informed Cabinet Secretary about activities of the Defense Forces of Ukraine aimed at repelling Russian military aggression and liberating temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. He also expressed his gratitude for Kenya’s participation in the meetings of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in ‘Ramstein’ format. The Cabinet Secretary voiced his confidence that Ukraine will come out victorious, and assured of comprehensive support from the Kenyan side, which is based on Kenya’s principled position towards safeguarding international relations’ system based on common values and on respect to the international law.

Counterparts discussed issues of further strengthening Ukrainian – Kenyan cooperation in the military and military-technical fields.
