XXVI Session of the Council of Heads of Global Environment Forum started the work at the regional United Nations headquarters in Nairobi today, attended by the delegation of 116 countries.
Among the key issues that participants discussed this activity: the environment, switching to "green economy", the relationship and link between environmental and industrial development, climate change, and exchange of good practices for the conservation of industrial waste and rapid response to environmental disasters.
In representative international forum, which will last until February 24, actively participating Ukrainian delegation, composed of representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Ambassador of Ukraine in Kenya Mr.Volodymyr Butiaha.
