On April 12, 2023, Ambassador Andrii Pravednyk held a fruitful meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya Dr. Alfred Mutua.

Ambassador expressed his gratitude for Kenya's consistent position in condemning the Russian war against Ukraine and emphasized that only together we can stop the aggressor and bring all those responsible to justice.

The sides discussed practical aspects of deepening political and trade-economic cooperation between Ukraine and Kenya and noted mutual interest in the implementation of a number of important projects.

During the meeting, the Minister once again expressed the sincere gratitude of the people of Kenya for the initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy "Grain from Ukraine" and emphasized that the donation from the Ukrainian people has significantly improved the situation of tens of thousands of Kenyans.

The sides also agreed to continue working for the benefit of the peoples of Ukraine and Kenya.
