During his working visit to Mombasa, H.E. Mr. Andrii Pravednyk, Ambassador of Ukraine in Kenya, held a meeting with Hon.Joab Tumbo, Chief of Staff Government of Mombasa.

During the meeting the Sides noted a high potential of further strengthening of the partnership and expanding the ties between Ukraine and Kenya in a number of areas, including cooperation in trade and tourism. Among other issues, the counterparts discussed the challenges in the tourism sphere due to COVID-19 pandemic.

H.E. Mr. Andrii Pravednyk noted that the establishment of the direct charter flight Kyiv - Mombasa indicates a great interest of the Ukrainian tour operators to further develop cooperation with the Kenyan Side, which will undoubtedly increase the number of Ukrainian tourists in Mombasa.
