At the invitation by the Head of the project Mr.Mike Reznik, the representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in Kenya took part in the official ceremony of launching the construction of a charitable center “Future Home of Island of Hope”.

The centre will be opened in the frames of the international organization «Transforming Nations» in Kakamega, founded by Ukrainian volunteers.

“Future Home of Island Hope” will fulfill the progremmes in support and rehabilitation of children and youth in crisis, in particular girls, who became victims of Gender-Based Violence.

On behalf of Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Andrii Pravednyk, Political Officer, Mr. Illia Karandas congratulated the participants of the event on the successful launching of the construction.
