On March 16, 2023, in Nairobi, with the support of the Ukrainian Institute, the Embassy of Ukraine in Kenya, the Nairobi City County and the Goethe Institute, the ceremonial opening of the "Grains of Culture" mural, created jointly by artists from Ukraine and Kenya took place.

"Grains of Culture" is one of the five murals implemented by the Ukrainian agency "Port" in the framework of Ukrainian project the Wall.

Kenya became the first country in Africa, where the mentioned project was presented.

This project reflects the creative diversity of Ukraine and Kenya and is an evidence of the close friendship between our peoples.  

The event was attended by heads and staff members of diplomatic missions accredited to Kenya, representatives of cultural and business circles, the Ukrainian community, as well as by high ranking officials from ministries and other government agencies of Kenya.

Ukrainian electronic duo Tvorchi who will represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 was the special guest at tis event.
