As part of her visit to Kenya, Director of Africa and Regional African Organizations Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine H.E. Liubov Abravitova met with the leadership of ATIDI (African Trade & Investment Development Insurance) - one of the leading African multilateral financial institutions specializing in insurance of investment and trade risks. During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding economic cooperation between Ukraine and African countries, primarily focusing on practical instruments to support Ukrainian business in entering African markets. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of using ATIDI mechanisms for risk insurance, attracting financing and supporting investment projects. ATIDI representatives confirmed their readiness to hold a separate presentation for Ukrainian business and establish cooperation with Ukrainian institutions involved in attracting investments and developing exports.
 The parties also discussed the prospects for implementing long-term projects in the field of agriculture, food security, logistics and the development of regional supply chains with the participation of Ukraine, Kenya and international financial partners. The development of such partnerships is an important component of Ukraine's new economic diplomacy in Africa and opens up additional opportunities for Ukrainian business in one of the most promising markets in the world.
