Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine H.E. Andriy Parubiy held May 13, 2019 a meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Kenya Hon. Justin Muturi.

Both heads of parliaments discussed prospects of establishment of interparliamentary relations between Ukraine and Kenya in order to provide legislative support of the bilateral initiatives. To this end, Hon. Justin Muturi informed that the Kenyan Parliament will establish a group of friendship with Ukraine.

Andriy Parubiy also thanked Justin Muturi for Kenya’s consistent support of Ukraine in the fight for territorial integrity and condemning of the occupation. Also Andriy Parubiy called on the Kenyan Parliament to support the respective parliamentary initiatives of Ukraine in the international arena.

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Kenya Hon. Justin Muturi said that this is a historic visit and thanked the Chairperson of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Government of Ukraine and the people of Ukraine for their hospitality.
