Rwanda is a promising trade and economic partners of Ukraine in the region of East Africa.

In 2021, the bilateral trade turnover in goods between Ukraine and Rwanda amounted to 1.84 million USD.

During this period exports from Ukraine to Rwanda comprised 1.01 million USD (52.4% of the same period in 2020), imports - 834 thousand USD (63.6% growth compared to 2020).

Main items of exports from Ukraine to Rwanda were: fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin - 468 thousand USD (46.3% of total exports), alcoholic and soft drinks, vinegar - 194 thousand USD (19.1%), products made of stone, plaster, cement - 191 thousand USD (18.9%), products made of flour and cereals - 111 thousand USD (11%), meat and edible offal - 31 thousand USD (3.1%), optical and photographic devices - 14 thousand USD (1.4%).

Main items of imports from Rwanda to Ukraine were: coffee and tea - 673 thousand USD (80.7%), tin and tin-made products - 153 thousand USD (18.4%).

Exports of services from Ukraine to Rwanda in 2021 amounted to 342 thousand USD (140% growth compared to 2020).
