Today Ambassador of Ukraine to Kenya H.E. Mr.Andrii Pravednyk held a meeting with the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife of the Republic of Kenya Hon. Najib Balala.

During the meeting the Sides raised a number of issues on the prospects of further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Ukraine and Kenya in the field of tourism.

The Country Director of Ukrainian IT company Innohub Group Maksym Tykhonov presented ideas on possible joint Ukraine-Kenya projects. In this regard, it was agreed to hold a presentation on such proposals of Innohub Group for the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, the Kenya Tourism Board, Kenya Wildlife Service and the Kenyan tour operators.

Given the challenges of COVID-19 pandemic, which nowadays is one of the biggest obstacles to tourism development, Ambassador Andrii Pravednyk requested Hon. Najib Balala to facilitate the arrangements between Ukraine and Kenya on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates against COVID-19.
