Amb. Andrii Pravednyk congratulated his counterpart on a new appointment and expressed hope that both countries will continue to maintain their friendly relations.

Amb. John Simbachawene noted that Tanzania is interested in further deepening of cooperation with Ukraine and sees significant potential in the development of mutual relations in the areas of trade and tourism.

The sides also discussed the prospects of further deepening of the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries, raised the issue of the further development of the legal framework, as well as the ways to intensify people-to-people contacts.

Amb. John Simbachawene thanked for the warm welcome at the Embassy.

The sides expressed their hopes that such meetings would become a good tradition, which would enhance the development of horizontal communication and ensure the establishment of even more fruitful cooperation between Ukraine and Tanzania.
