On September 15, 2020 Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Andrii Pravednyk held a meeting with Amb. Joe Sang who was recently appointed as the Director for Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kenya.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the prospects of further deepening of the bilateral relations between the countries and highly appreciated the level of mutual support within international organizations. Amb. Joe Sang expressed his gratitude for Ukraine’s support of Kenya’s candidature for the UN Security Council seat.

Following the positive trend in the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Kenya, Amb. Andrii Pravednyk expressed his hope that Amb. Raychelle Omamo, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Kenya will pay a visit to Ukraine in the first half of 2021. In order for the visit to achieve practical results, both sides agreed to intensify finalization of key bilateral agreements.
