The Russian Federation continues to recruit foreign nationals to fight in its war against Ukraine by using deceptive employment offers, promises of high salaries, and other misleading recruitment schemes.

To raise awareness of these risks and counter such practices, Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, has launched the official Stop Russian Recruiters information platform.

The platform provides verified information about Russian recruitment methods, documented testimonies, the risks and consequences of joining the Russian military, as well as practical guidance for those who have been targeted by such schemes.

The platform also enables users to:

• anonymously report recruiters and provide information about recruitment networks;
• access the I Want to Live project for those seeking to surrender voluntarily;
• use the I Want to Find service to search for persons serving in the Russian Armed Forces who have been captured, killed, or gone missing in Ukraine.

The website is available in English and French.

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Kenya urges everyone to remain vigilant and carefully verify any offers related to employment or travel to the Russian Federation.
