On July 26, 2023 the Ambassador of Ukraine to Kenya H.E. Andrii Pravednyk met with the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Digital Economy of the Republic Kenya H.E. Eliud Owalo.

The Ambassador informed the Cabinet Secretary about active development of Ukrainian IT-sector and success in digitization of public services in Ukraine based on ‘Diia’ platform. He stressed on the potential of bilateral cooperation in the fields of e-government solutions, IT-education and cybersecurity.

CS Eliud Owalo briefed on Kenya’s digitalization agenda and expressed his interest in exchange of experience with Ukraine.

It was agreed to hold bilateral consultations between the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Digital Economy of the Republic Kenya.
