October 8, 2019, H.E.Mr.Andrii Pravednyk, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Kenya met with Mr.Richard Ngatia, President of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Nairobi to discuss the measures to intensify trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Kenya and to establish direct contacts between representatives of business circles of both countries.
During the meeting, both sides discussed possible aspects and ways of establishing and developing already existing and future means of cooperation between businessmen of both countries, as well as emphasized the importance of developing cooperation in the agricultural, chemical, pharmaceutical, transport and IT spheres.
Following the meeting it was agreed to elaborate a number of projects in these areas, as well as to consider establishing direct contacts between the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry by concluding a Memorandum of Understanding, exchanging of delegations as well as by establishing a Ukrainian-Kenyan Business Council.
