On May 20, 2019 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Kenya Andrii Pravednyk presented to the acting Director-General of the United Nations Office at Nairobi Maimunah Sharif the Letter accrediting him as Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Environment Programme and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme.

This will give additional impetus to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Ukraine and UNEP and UN-HABITAT, particularly in terms of ensuring Ukraine's national interests in the areas of environmental protection and human settlements development.
