On September 5, 2018 the Embassy of Ukraine in Kenya held an event aimed at promotion of Ukrainian higher education.
The promotional event was held in one of the most prestigious Nairobi schools, Oshwal Academy Junior High – a private establishment which follows the British curriculum.
During the interactive event the Ukrainian diplomats provided the future applicants with the insight into Ukrainian culture and traditions, its economic potential and also intointernationally recognized high standards of the education in Ukraine.
The students expressed particular interest in Ukrainian universities due to its quality that meets the European standards and the prices which are more affordable.
Also the high school students learned the process of applying to universities and details of enrolment.
To ensure the interests of foreign applicants and the transparency of the registration process, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine established the Ukrainian State Center for International Education. The Center provides full support to the applicants all the way untill entering a university.
The Embassy provided promotional gifts with Study in Ukraine contacts to future colleage applicants.
Promoting educational exchange is important, as the students, besides gaining the necessary professional knowledge, eventually act as cultural Ambassadors – they bring their own culture to us and take back some of the Ukrainian traditions to their homes.
