March 4, 2015 Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine to the Republic of Kenya held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Republic of Kenya Mohamed Ali Nur. 

Ukrainian side provided unbiased information concerning the situation in the east of Ukraine, wherefore the Somalian side expressed sympathy and understanding, and stressed their support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. 

The sides also discussed possible areas of Ukraine-Somalia cooperation, in particular in the field of education. 

The diplomats confirmed their mutual interest in developing diplomatic relations between the two countries and the deepening of bilateral cooperation.
