On December 22, the Chargé d'affaires a.i. of Ukraine to the Republic of Kenya met with the presidence of the Europe Division of Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Kenya.

 

Kenyan Side was also represented by the counselor of the Europe Division who is in charge of Ukrainian-Kenyan relations, the representatives of the Protocol and Political Departments.

 

During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Kenya on the initiative of the Ukrainian side, the Kenyan Side was informed about the current situation in the East of Ukraine. The issue of the Ukrainian pilot and people's deputy of Ukraine Nadiia Savchenko was also discussed.

 

The Sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in economic, cultural, and legal spheres.

 

The representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Kenya thanked the Ukrainian side for initiating the meeting. They also noted long and friendly relations between our countries, called for further strengthening and expansion of Ukrainian-Kenyan cooperation in all spheres.
