On June 28, 2012 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov attended the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected members of the Hellenic Parliament.

After the ceremony the Ambassador had a brief conversation with some newly elected Parliament members, including the creation of the Hellenic part of the bilateral parliamentary friendship group. During the talks the Hellenic deputies also stressed a noticeable improvement of Ukraine's image abroad, primarily due to the success of the "Euro-2012".
